The Leela Palace in Jaipur offers all that is luxurious and more—it is charming, rustic, and extraordinary!

This opulent hotel will fulfil your fantasies of royalty with unbridled elegance and grandeur, making it the ideal retreat for a quick weekend or a stunning setting for a destination wedding.

Specifically designed for modern visitors, this opulent hotel is situated on the Delhi-Jaipur highway across from the historic Amber Fort. It is surrounded by the stunning Aravalli mountain ranges and overlooks 8 acres of landscaped gardens and vegetation.

The Leela Palace is one of the most luxurious properties of the Pink City located at a distance of 215 km from Gurgaon (Haryana) and is 15kms from The Amber Fort and approx. 1hr drive from Jaipur’s International Airport.

Managed by the hotel chain “The Leela”, it is spread over an area of 50,000 square metres, and has more than 190+ luxury rooms and also has 8 different types of rooms such as Royal Villa with plunge pool, Maharajan Suites, Grand Suites all are with top class service and amenities. It is indeed a perfect epitome of modern-day design with classic royalty.

It also offers several other services to its guests, such as a full-service spa, a sauna, and an outdoor pool, it also has a coffee cafe, a snack bar and even a poolside bar/lounge. It also has a Kids Pool, if you’re travelling with a kid then this is one of the best options for your kids to enjoy the pool dive this summer.

Moving ahead and talking about how was my stay at this royal property, words fall short when I start writing about my experience. Travelling for 4 hours from Gurgaon as we reached and felt a bit tired, we were welcomed at this grand retreat with a welcome drink and later we entered our Royal Villa with a Plunge pool, we settled in the outdoor sitting and had our evening tea and snacks by the pool. The rooms felt very rich in art due to the presence of paintings, sculptures and other things, in the room, the outdoors and even by the pool.

As soon as the light went on, the beauty of this palace was just so impeccable that it felt so surreal and that too on a full moon night the whole palace was glowing. We then went to its own “Jharokha Bar”, which had a very happy and colourful sitting area and perfect lighting and ambience.

It was dinner time already and we decide to go for the night to “Mohan Mahal”, the Indian speciality restaurant, which is inspired by the architectural designs of Sheesh Mahal, The walls of the restaurant are decorated with 3,50,000 pieces of traditional and classic glass. It also has some of the best royal maharaja dishes from the old era with authentic taste.

My stay at this grandeur hotel for two nights was such an amazing and luxurious experience. If you’re planning for a weekend getaway near Delhi/NCR or Jaipur, then The Leela Palace should be top on your list, and it’s even better if it’s with family including kids.
